Leveraging Fourth Element’s expertise in thermal protection and body mapping, the Halo A°R underwent assessment with thermal imaging cameras to enhance and refine prototypes. The Halo A°R sets new standards in diving undersuits with its incorporation of A°RGON™ aerogel in a compression-resistant matrix. Originally created for space exploration and cryogenics, The A°RGON™ aerogel stands as one of the most insulating materials ever created. With remarkable insulation properties, this material enables the Halo A°R to achieve extreme thermal protection from a thinner, less buoyant diving undersuit. From shoulders to knees, the entire body is shielded by a layer of A°RGON™, ensuring enhanced insulation without compromising mobility or creating bulk.
Featuring a wind and water-repellent stretch outer layer, along with comfortable thumb loops and foot stirrups, this garment ensures all-day wearability with total comfort. The offset chest zip and baffles minimise heat loss from the torso when in horizontal trim. Routing a valve in this diving undersuit is made simple with the two-way zipper in the fly, and a zippered pocket offers a secure place to store keys, credit cards, and cash.
