This program is designed to give students a greater understanding and experience of the techniques used to navigate below the waves, empowering them to return to previously explored sites and locate an optimal exit point at the end of a dive, eliminating the need for an uncomfortable surface swim.

This specialty course goes beyond compass mastery, teaching you to leverage the underwater environment for navigation, utilising cues like sand ripples and reef formations. The course also covers different navigation, their applications, limitations, route prediction, distance estimation, and even the art of creating underwater maps.
